How to meditate? The purpose of meditation is to learn to relax your muscles & breathing patterns so you could focus your thoughts. Sometimes when we are so worried about something in our lives it ends up we have an anxiety attack over it. That feeling when you first have one is such a horrible experience we don't know what is happening to us which makes us feel even more anxiety because we panic and don't understand what's happening. Some symptom's may include heart palpitations, sweaty hands, a feeling that we want to run. So basically, we should meditate with deep intakes of breath & slow releases while thinking of happy thoughts.

One self-help concept I recommend is  (EFT) Emotional Freedom Technique. Its a great technique. You could use it in all aspects of your life. Basically the theory is that all negative emotions are caused by a disturbance to your energy system. This is the same energy system that stimulate so called energy meridan points on the body by tapping them with his/hers fingertips. This kind of therapy is attractive to many people because it uses no drugs. However, it is recommended you consult with your care provider, counselor, or psychologist before starting treatment like Emotional Freedom Techniques.

Several steps to Emotional Freedom Techniques:

Step 1)  View the EFT tapping point diagram above.

Step 2)  Decide what you want to release, treat, or change with EFT.

Step 3)  Stimulate the major points by tapping on them or massaging them.
             Try this several times.
